Manufacture

We supply single-piece extruded brass manifolds manufactured in Italy. The process is carefully quality controlled and includes:

• Drilling
• Tapping
• Tempering by heat to remove stresses from the bar
• Pressure testing the assembled components
• Stamping each manifold with a unique identification number to ensure traceability

Features
The assembled manifold includes: automatic air eliminators

• pressure gauge
• temperature gauge
• isolating valves
• flow rate meters

Configurations
The manifold is available in many configurations and can be tailored to match any requirement – here are two examples.

Description
1" single piece extruded brass manifold set comprising:

1 x flow manifold complete with

• variable valves
• automatic air eliminator
• drain/fill point

1 x return manifold complete with

• pressure gauge
• temperature gauge
• valves to receive thermal actuator heads

Factory assembled, pressure tested and stamped in line with quality procedures.

Allowances

An extra allowance must be made for the type of fittings to be added on, depending on the water mixing system:

Manual (Standard mixing system):

• Add 175mm to ‘X’
• Add 40mm to ‘Y’
• Add 80mm to ‘Z’
• Boiler pipework comes from bottom

Weather compensation (isolation valves only:

• Add 100mm to ‘X’
• No addition to ‘Y’
• No addition to ‘Z’
• Boiler pipework comes from side.

All manifolds should ideally be mounted at least 400mm above Finished Floor Level (FFL)
